Salade Fraise Feta | Strawberry Feta Salad
Introduction
Spinach salad with strawberries, mushrooms, red onion, feta, and candied pecans, served with balsamic dressing. Serves 7.
Ingredients
- 1 bag spinach, washed and drained
- 3/4 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 1/4 inches red onion slices, quartered (use about 1/4 cup thin slices)
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup candied pecans, chopped
- Balsamic dressing
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, mushrooms, and red onion.
- Add feta and candied pecans. Drizzle with balsamic dressing and toss gently. Serve immediately.
Tips
- Dress lightly to avoid wilting spinach; add more at the table if needed.
- Chill ingredients and dressing for crisp texture; slice onions very thin for mild bite.
Optional Additions
- Add grilled chicken for protein or a squeeze of lemon to brighten the dressing.
